Visuals taken from my Master's Thesis Project at Robert Gordon University, focusing on a mixed-use community development within King Street, Aberdeen. The images were edited in Photoshop from Enscape renders of a 3D model created in SketchUp.
The project, Regent Square & St. Mary’s Plaza, is a mixed-use community development within the University Zone of King's Street 15 Minute City. The development incorporates health, education and social functions that neighbour a newly renovated church (now a gallery and café that opens out onto a plaza (St. Mary’s Plaza) connecting the university to the site). These functions are formed around a large courtyard and placed within an undulating timber screen. Within the screen, openings are strategically placed to provide links to the University of Aberdeen, King Street and Aberdeen Aquatics Centre.
This development aims to provide a central point that can serve both university students and the general public in and around the Seaton Area.
