Context
In 2024, I was extremely fortunate to be commissioned by both We Are Here Scotland and Aberdeen Performing Arts to present eight paintings at Aberdeen’s Music Hall. The art exhibition was titled: ‘THE DIASPORA EVERYDAY’ and explored the somewhat ordinary, everyday moments that connect those in Aberdeen’s many diasporas to their homelands.
